A region to explore

A tailor-made holiday

Art, history, relaxation

Just 500 metres from the Mas, you can enjoy views of the Vaccarès lake and the Camargue National Nature Reserve; a 15-kilometre-long path known as La Draille des 5 Gorges allows you to walk or cycle all the way to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, far from the hustle and bustle of the road, The Méjanes estate, where you can take a ride on a little train to admire the nature reserve, and many other opportunities to enjoy the lake or visit Arles, our beautiful Roman city.

History, beaches and the river

For art and history enthusiasts, the town of Arles (à 20 min du Mas) (20 minutes from the farmhouse) is a must-visit destination, as it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

For beach lovers, Sainte Marie de la Mer is 25 minutes from the farmhouse, or the wilder beach at Piemanson, 40 minutes away, is also popular with kite surfers.

Fancy immersing yourself in a gypsy atmosphere whilst sipping a cocktail to the sound of a guitar? Head to Sainte-Marie-de-la-Mer, the capital of the Camargue and a place of pilgrimage for gypsies.

The Petit Rhône offers a refreshing escape in summer for fun canoeing or stand-up paddleboarding trips.

Alpilles et Aigues Morte

Les Alpilles, an iconic local mountain range, just a 35-minute drive away, offering unforgettable hikes lined with charming villages such as Les Baux de Provence, where a stop is a must to explore the village and its castle, as well as the unmissable Carrières de Lumières.

Aigues Morte, medieval town from which the first Crusades set out, 40 minutes from the farmhouse, with a visit to its salt marshes.

There are so many places to visit that we could fill this page time and time again; we would be delighted to show you around our beautiful region.
